Gladwyne Memorial Day Parade & Block Party
May 28, Gladwyne

The Gladwyne Civic Association celebrates Memorial Day with a parade through town. Decorate bikes, wagons and strollers in red, white and blue for this ceremony honoring veterans. A block party follows the parade to keep the fun rolling.

Memorial Day at the Legion
May 28, Ardmore

Leon Spender Reid and American Legion Post 547 are hosting a day filled with drill unit performances, food and drinks, face painting, vendors, and giveaways in honor of the holiday. 

Memorial Day Blues Festival
May 26-28, Chadds Ford

Celebrate the start of summer and honor the sacrifices of our veterans at Chaddsford Winery’s Memorial Day Blues Festival. Each day offers something different, including live music from Scoville Blue and Steve Guyger, among others, plus a lineup of local food trucks, lawn games and more.

Memorial Day Weekend and Revolutionary Sailors
May 26-28, Philadelphia

The Museum of the American Revolution will pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the Revolutionary War. Hop aboard a ship like those used in battle as performers simulate the crew’s experience. Veterans and active and retired military receive free admission.

Tribute to Heroes
May 28, Devon

Honor our local heroes by attending the Devon Horse Show’s Tribute to Heroes, which takes place in the Dixon Oval. Police, fire, emergency responders, and active and retired military receive free admission.
