Ella's American Bistro's Summer Menu

Ella's American Bistro's Summer Menu

Chef Chad Jajczyk of Ella’s American Bistro in Wayne is putting his spin on summer dishes, creating a fresh new menu that’s inspired by the restaurant’s own house garden. The menu at Ella’s has always played to what’s seasonal and local, and now even more so with the new summer menu. Chef Jajczyk is introducing vegetarian-friendly dishes like a vegan soup with roasted corn, red pepper jam and jasmine rice, loads of veggie- and fruit-packed salads and various small plates and entrées.

The menu is heavy on seafood dishes, which are perfect for the warm weather, so items like the crab in pastry with fingerling potatoes and sundried tomato pesto or buccatini with clams, black garlic, savoy cabbage and charred scallions sound like a great reason not to cook. Another dish sure to be a hit are the scallops with gojuchang (a Korean red pepper paste), potato and roasted peanuts (pictured).

There are also plenty of non-seafood dishes on the new menu as well, like the brown sugar bone-in pork chop with sweet and sour peaches and of course, the famous classic burger. Check out the new menu for yourself!
