Sips Bistro & Bar Opens in Phoenixville

Sips Bistro & Bar Opens in Phoenixville

Phoenixville now has a new restaurant to add to its list. Sips Bistro & Bar is the name of the weeks-old French bistro on Bridge Street. Sips is owned by Fabien Chaigneau, who has held positions at Philadelphia’s Sofitel Hotel, Pond and Brasserie Perrier to name a few.

The dinner menu is classic French bistro, with nice selections of cheeses, tartines, soups, salads and bistro entrées like steak frites, duck confit and crêpes. Dinner is served daily until 10 p.m. and lunch is available from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

And if Italian and opera are more your speed, you don’t want to forget Trattoria San Nicola in Paoli for their famous Tuesday night opera series. Local opera lovers compete for prizes while diners enjoy a live performance and a six-course, family-style meal for $49.95 per person. Tables fill up very quickly so call (610) 695-8990 to reserve your spot.
