Bad news for fans of Wayne’s Creperie Bechamel—the popular sweet and savory crepe destination has closed its doors. The space won’t be empty for long, though. Tara Buzan of To the Table Catering has purchased the restaurant and has plans for what is sure to become a Main Line destination. Buzan, a private chef and caterer, previously owned A Taste of Britain but sold it after the birth of her son.
The new spot will feature a five- or eight-course tasting menu, and guests will also be able to select from a list of nightly chef offerings. Buzan has a partner in the project who will serve as executive chef, but she’s keeping mum for now about details.
After some renovations, At the Table is expected to open in late October or early November. The restaurant will serve dinner nightly, except on Mondays, with brunch served Friday through Sunday.
