Hightail over to Glen Mills on Fri., Dec. 13, to attend Terrain’s Weck-infused vodka course, which will prove an imbibable education that’ll shake up your dull cocktail hours. The house culinary specialist will demonstrate a few easy infusion recipes, then mix up sample cocktails for a tasting. Cost is $20 per person, reservations required.
Terrain will wrap December with a one-dish cooking course, unfolding Sat., Dec. 28, 2–3 p.m., an event organized to highlight long-running New York Times food columnist, David Tarris,’ new cookbook, One Good Dish. The class will include a crowd-pleasing comfort food instructional and tasting. Cost $15 per person; reservations are required.
This week over at West Elm Philadelphia, on Thurs., Dec. 5, 6–8 p.m., Teaspoons & Petals will team up with Etsy superstar Laura Elle and shortbread-baking goddess Coco Love Homemade for one spectacular holiday gift wrapping class. Event highlights include Teaspoons & Petals’ Alexis Siemons sharing sips of warming tea (you’ll want to know her secrets!), as well as debuting her heirloom handkerchief & teaspoon collection. Coco Love’s Lindsey Love preps to entice taste buds with signature sweet treats, and will even allow pick-up for her cookie samplers at the West Elm event. Admission is free, RSVP here.
On Sun., Dec. 15, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Philly’s West Elm teams up with Kinfolk to host a foraged and found home decor workshop, which will offer tips to spruce up your home (literally!) just in time for holiday dinners, soirees and more.
