Main Line Farmers' Markets Open for the Winter

The Bryn Mawr Farmers Market is open on the first and third Saturdays of the month (that means this Saturday, Feb. 4) through April. Find fruits and veggies, artisan cheeses, yogurt, baked goods, chocolate, coffee and much more. 10 a.m.-noon. Visit brynmawrfarmersmarket.blogspot.com.

The Oakmont Winter Farmers Market opens one Saturday per month (Feb. 11, March 10 and April 14) in the Old Haverford Friends Meeting House on Eagle Road in Havertown. But this one works differently—place your order in advance and pick up your items on a Saturday listed above. Noon-2 p.m. Visit oakmontfarmersmarket.org.

Beth Ceccarelli graduated from Villanova and Temple universities. She’s held posts at several media outlets, reaching as far as The Today Show in Sydney, Australia. And her extensive world traveling has fostered her love of indigenous cuisine and photography.
