Pagano's Villaggio Italiano Welcomes Chef Anthony Stella

Pagano's Villaggio Italiano Welcomes Chef Anthony Stella

If you’re familiar with the Chadds Ford area and The Shops at Old Ridge Village, then chances are you’ve stopped into Pagano’s Villaggio Italiano for some Italian specialties or a loaded deli sandwich. If you haven’t been to the Chadds Ford store, the Pagano’s Market in Drexel Hill is similar (the Pagano family sold their Drexel Hill store in 2001). And now, the Pagano’s have decided to undergo new ownership as well.

Chef Anthony Stella has been named the new chef and owner of Pagano’s Villaggio Italiano and he brings with him years of experience, most recently as chef and owner of L’Osteria Cucina Italiana in Wilmington, Del., and director of facilities and purchasing at the Blood Bank of Delmarva. The Pagano name will remain the same as will the same quality of specialty foods available. The market and deli is open everyday except Monday and you can stay up to date on their news by following their Facebook page at facebook.com/paganositaliano.
