Who feels like eating heavy meals in the hot summer months? The kitchen staff at Terrain at Styer’s certainly doesn’t, and every night through Sept. 1, the café is offering a three-course prix fixe menu with items from the seasonal menu (which changes often). It’s a great way to try a range of items created in the kitchen. The regular à la carte menu is still available, as well as the chef’s $50, five-course tasting menu, but the three course prix fixe is the perfect in-between.
And at Stella Blu in Conshohocken, the chef is offering a New Jersey fresh menu through August to celebrate some of the state’s best produce to come off the farm. Expect dishes like a fresh grilled peach salad, Barnegat Bay jumbo scallops over peach and sweet corn risotto, a veggie-packed Farm Stand Pizza and a "Summer at the Shore" salad with loads of juicy Jersey tomatoes and roasted beets. Call (610) 825-7060 to make a reservation.
