Di Bruno Bros. Creates Heat-and-Eat Dinners for Shore Travel

You leave work on Friday to sit in some traffic in hopes of getting to the shore around dinnertime when you realize there’s nothing in the fridge except a bottle of ketchup awaiting your arrival. Rather than scramble for pizza delivery or some expensive shore takeout, plan a little bit in advance and pre-order a beach basket from Di Bruno Bros., a four-person meal packaged and ready for travel and easy reheating upon your arrival.

There are three meal options to choose from: the Seafarer’s basket comes with all the fixings for crab cake sandwiches (including jumbo lump crab cakes, remoulade and brioche rolls) as well as lobster mac-and-cheese, potato salad and coleslaw on the side. Meat-eaters may want to choose the Land Lubber’s basket, which comes with barbecue ribs, buttermilk fried chicken, barbecued baked bean salad, green bean salad and watermelon salad. If you’ve got a hankering for some good Italian food, you may want to choose the Mediterranean basket, which comes with tomato pie with olives and feta, lasagna Bolognese, turkey sausage with peppers, onions and gravy and a tomato and mozzarella salad.

Each of the four-person dinner baskets costs $75, plus $16 for each additional person. Pre-order and pick-up on your way to the shore by calling the catering department at (215) 665-1659.
