Easter and Passover Options, Part II

From Easter Bunny tea to…Mexican Passover? There’s enough for everyone to enjoy on the Main Line and surrounding areas.

The Radnor Hotel’s annual Tea with the Easter Bunny is back on Saturday, April 7 from 1-3 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be there, of course, and children will indulge in teatime favorites like tea sandwiches, scones, pastries, hot chocolate, tea and sparkling cider. Entertainment will follow with interactive stories and crafts from the spring fairy and a fairytale from the Easter Bunny, leaving each child with a storybook gift. The cost is $59.95 for one child and one adult. Call (610) 341-3146 to make your reservation.

Roll right into Easter the next day at the hotel’s Easter brunch, complete with live music and a view of the beautiful gardens. Enjoy traditional Easter favorites like roast leg of lamb and honey-glazed ham. Bring the kids too, as the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance. $35.95 per person and $17.50 for children under 12. Call to reserve your spot!

And if you’re celebrating Passover, we got wind of a fun twist on the holiday. Fort Washington’s Cantina Feliz and Fairmount’s new La Calaca Feliz (pictured) are hosting a Mexican “Passover Feliz” from April 6-13. A $30 four-course menu will feature dishes like a wild king salmon tostada with jicama and pineapple, a red-chile and matzo ball soup and a barbeque braised brisket taco.
