Most people would probably agree that they don’t need a nationally recognized holiday devoted to the margarita to go ahead and have one, but just in case you need that extra little push, Feb. 22 is National Margarita Day. In order to celebrate, Jose Garces’ University City eatery Distrito is offering 50 half-priced margaritas from 4-7 p.m. The regular menu already features six signature margaritas like the Distrito, made with Sauza Hornitos Plata with orange and lime and the seasonal frozen margarita, but guests will be able to choose their own classic margarita from the 50 blanco and reposado tequilas available (there are 200 varieties in all).
As well as being able to enjoy half-priced margaritas, diners will be able to enjoy $5 noshes from the happy hour menu like nachos, enchiladas, chorizo fundido, tacos de carnitas and much more.
Call (215) 222-1657 to make a reservation.
