Foodie Events on June 2 & 9
The annual Chocolate Symphony Spring Sensation Dinner and After Party and the Brandywine Food and Wine Festival heat up the foodie event scene in June.
On June 2, the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is hosting its annual Chocolate Symphony Spring Sensation Dinner and After Party at Philadelphia’s Loews Hotel. The dinner will feature items from some of the city’s top pastry chefs from Lacroix, Garces Trading Company and many more and will also include dancing and a live auction.
The After Party (also at the Loews) will include appetizers, drinks and live music. Visit alz.org/desjsepa for ticket information.
The Brandywine Food and Wine Festival is taking shape on Saturday, June 9 from 12-6 p.m. at the Myrick Convention Center. Local wineries will be on hand to let guests sip and taste their way through the local wines of the Brandywine Valley and there will be plenty of food vendors, local artisans and musicians on hand as well.
