A testament to Flakely’s popularity and success, the bakery is only available for walk-ins from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, but the wait is worth it. Every item, from shortcakes to muffins to croissants, bagels and more is gluten-free, even the “chipwiches” made with gluten-free ice cream. Due to high demand and limited hours, Flakely also offers delivery and at-home cooking ingredients for those looking to enjoy a heathy…well, healthier sweet treat.

While gluten-free items like the tiramisu, chocolate raspberry mousse and marjolaine pastries are made to order, you can also call in advance to request gluten-free cakes as well.

Crust Vegan Bakery

Nearly half the offerings at Crust Vegan come gluten-free. Flavors like cookies and cream and chocolate mocha to chocolate peanut and more can all be made gluten-free. Crust Vegan keeps frozen gluten-free cakes made to order, but offerings may be limited.
