Stephen Starr’s Dandelion Opens Early for Premier League Soccer

You don’t have to be a huge soccer fan to enjoy The Dandelion’s new breakfast menu—but it wouldn’t hurt. Stephen Starr’s English-style pub in Center City is offering weekend breakfast at 8-11:30 a.m., featuring live Premier League matches. Enjoy a true English breakfast (eggs with Cumberland sausage, black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, smoked bacon, fried bread and baked beans) or Scotch pancakes with maple syrup and cinnamon cream. Wash it all down with a specialty cocktail or a pint of beer. On Oct. 15, Liverpool plays Manchester United at 7:45 a.m.—the restaurant will open at this time on that day.
