Any day now, talented Philly chef Michael Schulson and restaurateur Rob Wasserman will open the doors to their much-anticipated Suburban Square bistro, The Saint James. The duo wanted a menu that was simple, and an early glimpse promises dishes that are just that, plus approachably refined. Executive Chef Matt Moon (most recently of Talula’s Garden in Philadelphia) is executing an American bistro menu with dishes like trout dip with "everything" bagel chips, peekytoe crab toasts with lemon and dill aioli, a Philadelphia pork sandwich with spicy kale and sharp provolone and a grilled tuna steak with avocado and chili. There will also be a large raw bar, plus lots of daily specials.
All dishes will range in price from $6-$24. The restaurant will be open Sun.-Thurs. from 11 a.m.-12 a.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
