Di Bruno Bros. to Host After-Hours Cocktail Party at Ardmore Farmers Market

Di Bruno Bros. celebrates its 75th anniversary by giving back to the community.

Now in its 75th year, Di Bruno Bros., a pillar in the Philadelphia food community boasting five specialty food retail locations and more than 350 team members, in addition to their employees at the catering, import and e-commerce divisions, has been celebrating this milestone anniversary by giving back to the community in some very exceptional ways.

Next on the agenda is the St. James School Soiree, to be held Thursday, Oct. 23, beginning at 6 p.m. The after-hours cocktail party at the Ardmore Farmers Market, located at 120 Coulter Avenue, will benefit St. James School and its mission to construct and operate a state-of-the-art Neighborhood Kitchen. The new kitchen will provide nutritious foods to students and their families while simultaneously encouraging youth to consider an education and career in the culinary arts. Di Bruno Bros. has pledged to raise $75,000 for the Neighborhood Kitchen.

“Throughout our 75th anniversary year, we’ve honored the spirit of our founders by recommitting ourselves to bringing exceptional products to Philadelphia and finding ways to give back to and engage with our community,” says President Bill Mignucci Jr., third-generation owner and grandson of Danny Di Bruno. “With the St. James Soiree, we’re offering our fans and friends an opportunity to support a great cause and also enjoy some of the tastiest imported and domestic bites and beverages available.”
