Iron Hill Brewery Debuts Its Great Imperial Pumpkin Ale

This new brew is perfect for autumn—and it’s available to-go. Look for it Sept. 23.

On Sept. 23, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will introduce a seasonal beer: the Great Imperial Pumpkin Ale. Brewed with more than 200 pounds of pumpkins from Lancaster—along with pumpkin pie spices, molasses and Belgian sugar—this autumn ale will be sold for $19.50 in 750-milliliter, cork-topped bottles, featuring a fun, festive and locally designed label. Iron Hill’s director of brewing operations, Mark Edelson, describes it as full-bodied and intensely flavored, perfect for sipping on its own or paired with a hearty fall dish. Pick up a bottle at any of the eight Iron Hill locations next time you’re out and have a hankering for a really great beer.
