First Ever Suburban Oktoberfest to be Held on Sept. 23

The Exton beer garden will offer more than 40 local beers from 12 featured breweries, hors d’oeuvres and live music.

Craving salty pretzels, steins frothing with beer and jovial company? Look no further because Suburban Restaurant & Beer Garden is having its first-ever Oktoberfest on Sept. 23 from 2-6 p.m.The fest will feature more than 40 brews from 12 local breweries, plus hors d’oeuvres and live music from Tim Celfo and the Celfonics.

Participating breweries include Sterling Pig Beer, Free Will Brewing Company, Levante Brewing, Stickman Brews, Root Down Brewing Company, La Cabra Beer, Conshohocken Brewing Company, Rivertowne Brewing, Locust Lane Craft Brewery, Tröegs Independent Brewing, Spring House Brewing Company and Wyndridge Farm.

Hors d’oeuvres will range from September Farms cheese curds served with a roasted garlic dip to Bavarian pretzels with IPA mustard and a hot cheddar sauce. Those hungrier for more can choose from the full Suburban menu of sustainable meats and locally sourced ingredients by Chester County native and Wyebrook Farm alum chef Eric Yost.
