Following last year’s successful turnout, VegFest will return to Phoenixville for its second annual day of vegan food, live music and vegan-friendly merchandise. The festival will be held on Sept. 30, from 12-5 p.m., on Bridge Street, and vegans, vegetarians, omnivores and carnivores are all welcome.
Don’t miss out on local favorites like Great American Pub and Franco Ristorante, both of which will be debuting new vegan items on their menus. Food trucks stopping by from Philly include The Chilly Banana (try its signature banana whip), Obsidian Eats (go for vegan soul food) and Kung Fu Hoagies (think vegan banh mi and noodles). Then, indulge your sweet tooth with cheesecake or cannolis from Vegan Treats, one of the top vegan bakeries in the northeast.

Once you’ve had your fill of yummy delights, be sure to visit and meet the potbellied artists of the Pig Placement Network, which will sell artwork painted by its adoptable and adorable pigs. Vendors like Faux Moccs, ZULLI Designs and Grape Cat will be touting their vegan clothes and accessories.
The first 250 people to arrive at this year’s VegFest will receive a free reusable tote bag if they stop by Peace Advocacy Network (PAN). Proceeds from VegFest benefits this group. The event is free, and in case of rain, will be held on Oct. 1.
Before the festival, walk over to the also complimentary Green Earth Festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.—an expansion of the Phoenixville Farmer’s Market.
