Featuring the work of nearly 100 artists, the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur’s 45th annual Fine Art Show and Sale opens Friday with a catered preview reception. This year’s featured artist is local resident Rachel Brown.
Philadelphia Auto Show and Black Tie Tailgate

The Philadelphia Auto Show rolls into town this weekend, bringing with it more than 700 concept, classic, luxury and exotic vehicles. Get a preview of the nine-day show on Jan. 26 during the annual Black Tie Tailgate gala, benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The Way Back: The Paintings of George A. Weymouth

The Brandywine River Museum of Art is honoring Frolic Weymouth with a new exhibit, which explores the late Chadds Ford icon’s artistic passions. The Way Back: The Paintings of George A. Weymouth opens on Jan. 27 and runs through June 3.

Don’t miss the last week of Wayne Art Center’s 23rd international juried exhibition featuring contemporary fine art crafts in a variety of mediums. This year’s juror is Nora Atkinson, the Lloyd Herman Curator of Craft at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Renwick Gallery.
