Charles Philips Lecture at the Chadds Ford Historical Society
March 28, 7 p.m., Chadds Ford

The Chadds Ford Historical Society’s spring lecture series continues this week with a presentation on local photographer, Charles Philips. He photographed the rolling landscapes of Chester County and northern Delaware while traveling on bike between 1895 and 1912.

Haverford Hawks Ice Hockey 19th Annual Finland Exchange Tournament
March 29-31, Havertown

The Haverford Hawks youth ice hockey club hosts the Viikingit Ice Hockey Club from Helsinki, Finland this week for the 19th annual Finland Exchange Tournament. Twelve teams from around the Delaware Valley and New Jersey will compete against three Finnish teams at the Skatium Ice Rink.

Brewer’s Plate 2018
March 30, 7:30-10:30 p.m., Philadelphia

More than 70 chefs, farmers, food artisans and brewers will be featured at this year’s Brewer’s Plate. Now in it’s 14th year, the event will be held at the Kimmel Center and proceeds will benefit nonprofit, Fair Food.

Brandywine Hills Point-to-Point
April 1, West Chester

Steeplechase season kicks off this weekend with the 76th annual Brandywine Hills Point-to-Point. The oldest race of its kind in the Delaware Valley, the event benefits the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance.
