Linvilla Orchards Pumpkinland
Thru. Nov. 5, Media

Catch the last week of Linvilla’s Pumpkinland, featuring hayrides, a two-acre corn maze and plenty of pumpkins ripe for picking.

Longwood Gardens Pumpkin Patch
Oct. 30-31, Kennett Square

Enjoy the last days of Longwood’s Pumpkin Patch, which features an 800-pound pumpkin and a playground constructed out of the season’s favorite gourd.

Notable Kitchen Tour and Chef Showcase
Nov. 2, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Benefiting the Philadelphia Orchestra, this self-guided tour takes you through six outstanding Main Line home kitchens from Haverford to Wayne. Each home will feature a local chef preparing samples of culinary treats.

Phoenixville Harvest Festival
Nov. 4, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Phoenixville

Sample the best that Phoenixville has to offer at its Harvest Festival, which features a farmers’ market, beer garden, craft carnival and breakfast at the Colonial Theatre.

Trinity Berwyn 5k Run/Walk
Nov. 4, 9 a.m., Berwyn

Trinity Presbyterian Church hosts its 8th annual 5k walk/run, followed by a pancake breakfast. Proceeds benefit outreach efforts in Berwyn and around the world. Cash prizes are awarded to first place male and female finishers.

Valley Forge Beer and Cider Festival
Nov. 4, 12:30-9 p.m., Oaks

More than 150 craft beers and ciders will be on tap at the 7th annual Valley Forge Beer and Cider Festival held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Food trucks and other vendors will also be on site.

Highland Orchards Fall Food and Craft Beer Celebration
Nov. 4, 12-5 p.m., West Chester

Stop by Highland Orchards for a day of local beer and ciders, seasonal food offerings from Timothy’s, live music and other festive activities.

Beer Barons to Homebrewers Festival
Nov. 4, 1-4 p.m., Bala Cynwyd

Take in the beauty of West Laurel Hill at this beer fest, which features pours from local homebrewers and larger breweries. Proceeds benefit Philly Loves Beer.

Philadelphia Free to Breathe 5k Walk/Run
Nov. 5, 7 a.m., Philadelphia

Make your through scenic Fairmount Park to benefit the fight against lung cancer. Live music, children’s activities and a 1-mile walk round out the event.
