Greenable owners Lynne Templeton and Angelo Anastasio.Who says going green can’t bring in some serious green? This full-service studio and showroom caters to design professionals and other clients looking to incorporate eco-friendly materials and finishes into their building projects. Greenable launched in 2007, just as the economy took a turn for the worse. It’s not only survived the recession, but also expanded from its Center City origins to Kennett Square and now Ardmore.

Green credentials: Owners Lynne Templeton and Angelo Anastasio formed Greenable with the belief that “through smarter decisions, we can protect our health, our environment and our future with a better course of action when we design, redesign, build or renovate.”

Green innovation: Greenable is the only business in the tri-state area, and one of only a few in the country, offering the services it does. Its showrooms feature samples of all products, from recycled glass countertops to energy-efficient appliances. “There’s still a lot of misconceptions about green products out there,” says Anastasio. “Educating our clients is a big part of what we do.”

Bragging rights: “We have a lot of clients from the suburbs, so it makes sense to have a presence on the Main Line,” says Templeton. “And our location in Kennett Square provides great access to clients in southern Chester County and Delaware.”

Green dream: “For consumers to make smarter choices, to look beyond labels, and to ask tough questions,” says Anastasio. “To use a bit of awareness and common sense in every decision, and to understand that how we design, build and live from here on will affect the ability of future generations to provide for themselves.”
