The Philly Farm & Food Fest is Back

Plus, Table Tours is setting up shop in Wayne.

>> FARM TO TABLE: The Philly Farm & Food Fest is one of the country’s biggest and best single-day food festivals. Unfolding April 10 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the event focuses on local farmers, artisans and regional experts in the agricultural and processing fields. Highlights include live kitchen demos, a CSA pop-up shop, a local libations lounge, an area dedicated to coffee culture, and more. 

>> ON TOUR: Katy O’Gara, founder of Table Tours, is setting up shop at Wayne’s Bella Oliva Olive Oil & Vinegar Taproom (113 W. Lancaster Ave.) for a series of tasting classes featuring its products. Mangia on Italian specialties at the “Ciao, Italia!” class on April 13 at 6:30 p.m.

>> OPENINGS: We’re anxiously awaiting the spring debut of the sixth Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar in Susanna Foo’s former Radnor space (555 E. Lancaster Ave.). The newest location will be a massive 7,000 square feet. World of Beer is set to open its first area location at Main Street at Exton (270 Indian Run St.). Expect 50 beers on tap, hundreds of bottles and cans, and made-from-scratch tavern fare.
