Recipes are always creative, never too complicated, and usually come with a picture of the final product.
Another great online destination, PickYourOwn.org helps its users find the perfect regional farm for a hunting-and-gathering journey. On a not-too-hot day, it’s a wonderful way to spend some time with the kids—and maybe even teach them a little about farming—as you stock up on some of the freshest fruit you’ll get all year.
Speaking of fruit, PennsylvaniaWine.com is the spot for all things wine-related in our state—and there’s always plenty of information on Brandywine Valley wineries. This month, the winner of the website’s Great Pennsylvania Wine Toast will be announced. The author of the winning ode to local wines will receive a two-night stay at a B&B in the Pennsylvania wine region of their choice, a behind-the-scenes tour of a winery, and a private dinner with a winemaker.
