Join the Wayne Art Center on Friday, December 2nd from 6:00-10:00pm for a Gala Reception & Preview celebrating CraftForms 2011. Very Special Guests - Elisabeth Agro, the Nancy M. McNeil Curator of American Modern & Contemporary Crafts and Decorative Arts, Pennsylvania Museum of Art and juror for CraftForms 2011, and Tom Grotta & Rhonda Brown, owners of browngrotta arts and co-curators for Green From the Get Go: International Contemporary Basketmakers. Enjoy festive cocktails and scrumptious hors d'oeuvres by 12th Street Catering, wines by J.Lohr Vineyards, truffle tastings by The Painted Truffle, and martini bar ice luge created by Rob Capone. A live blend of world music and jazz will compliment the evening, by Phyllis Chapell and Siora. Craft Forms, now in its 17th year, has grown to be one of the leading contemporary craft exhibitions in the country and a favored showcase for the work of the nation's most talented craft artists. Craft Forms 2011 will be juried by Elizabeth Agro, Curator of American Modern and Contemporary Crafts and Decorative Arts, Philadelphia Museum of Art.
