Ever considered a career in robotics engineering? Want to learn the basics of robotic systems and applications? Then register for the free robotics engineering academic workshop at Widener University.
Widener's School of Engineering invites high school juniors and seniors to attend a free day-long workshop on Friday, October 25.
The free academic workshop will teach students the fundamentals and operation skills of robotic systems. Participants will rotate through a series of hands-on lab activities instructed by engineering faculty and professional partners from the robotics community. Students will be able to:
- Explore design principles
- Build components
- Learn how to operate the robots
- Re-program robots to perform various tasks
The workshop will also feature a tour of Widener’s campus as well as a panel discussion led by Widener robotics engineering students who will discuss industry applications and career opportunities in robotics.
