After 20 years of providing Whole Foods with sushi across the country, Genji is expanding their production and is now offering ramen bowls at the Cherry Hill Whole Foods location.
Genji’s Tonkotsu ramen is made with a rich pork broth, thin noodles and fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients. Each ramen bowl contains Chashu Pork, Bean Sprouts, Scallions, Black Mushroom, Ajitsuke-Tamago (Marinated Boiled Egg), Mayu, Red Ginger and Seaweed. Choose from three different seasoning styles; Shio (salt), Shoyu (soy sauce) or Spicy Miso. In addition to ramen, you’ll find a new, dry-style ramen called “mazemen”, made with thick whole wheat noodles and a delicious, creamy sauce. Try the Bacon & Egg mazemen with Bacon, Spring Mix and Onsen-Tamago (Poached Egg) or the Fresh Veggie Creamy Sesame mazemen with Spring Mix, Avocado, Cucumber and Tempura Flakes, served cold. If you’re still hungry, or looking for “quick eats”, the ramen bar also offers three types of steamed Bao Buns; Chashu Pork, Chicken Teriyaki and spicy Shrimp Tempura.
