Good News in Alzheimer’s Research Information Session

The Philadelphia community can play a major role in ending Alzheimer’s. The University of Pennsylvania will be hosting an information session for people who are interested in learning more about Alzheimer’s disease research opportunities in the area. The event is geared toward individuals between the ages of 55 and 75 who are NOT experiencing thinking or memory problems.

Where: Penn Memory Center, Rubenstein Auditorium, Smilow Center for Translational Research, 3400 Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19104

When: Wednesday, March 22, 2017 (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.) and Thursday, May 4, 2017 (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)

Who: 55-75 year-olds who are not experiencing thinking or memory problems

As part of the event, individuals will have the opportunity to submit a DNA sample (via free cheek swab kits) through GeneMatch, a program of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Registry.
