Professional Women’s Roundtable will host a panel discussion about the realities of motherhood in the workplace. Led by special guest Caroline Fortin, MSW, founder & CEO of Mama Said PHL, the panel will cover topics including:

  • Knowing your rights as a working mother
  • Sharing resources about self-advocacy in the workplace
  • Accessing tangible resources to use when planning your maternity
  • How to create better experiences for mothers and families

Caroline completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania and has since dedicated her career to improving maternal/child health and wellness throughout Philadelphia. She draws upon her passion for women’s health and experience in program development, group facilitation, and counseling as Founder and CEO of Mama Said.   Panelists:

  • Lindsay Hastings

Lindsay Hastings is the Assistant Director of Professional Development at the American Reading Company, working daily with educators and leaders to improve the quality of education for children in all zip codes.  

  • Carly Zimmerman

Carly Zimmerman is the CEO of Challah for Hunger, a Philadelphia based non-profit with an international impact that inspires young people to “bake a difference” through challah baking, advocacy and philanthropy.  

  • Jessica Fuller

Jessica Fuller is a workplace health consultant at Mercer, the world's largest human resources consulting firm, where she works with employers to develop and implement population health strategies, wellness programs, and employee benefits, including family planning and parental resources.
