Description

A new exhibit opens in the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area Museum on ‘First Friday’, June 2nd. The exhibit, “Over There and Over Here: Phoenixville and the Great War” will feature artifacts, photographs and documents telling the story of the Phoenixville Community’s role in World War I.  2017 marks the one hundredth anniversary of the United States’ entrance into the First World War. The HSPA Museum is open as part of Phoenixville’s “First Friday” activities, from 6 to 9 PM in addition to the Society’s regular public hours.

The exhibit runs through September.  
First Fridays will be held on June 2, July 7, August 4, and September 1 from 6-9pm.
Regular museum hours are 9a-3pm, Wednesday and Friday.
