Philadelphia World Refugee Day

Jun 20, 2018
05:00 PM until 08:30 PM

On Philadelphia World Refugee Day, watch as public and local organizations come together to celebrate the journey and integration of refugees from around the world into our City of Brotherly Love! We strive to highlight the growing contributions of refugees in Philadelphia and spread awareness of the challenges they face today in their search for a new home.   More than 100,000 refugees have made Pennsylvania “a place to call home” since the mid-1970’s, adding to the cultural mosaic in our city and state and contributing to economic growth through job creation, enlarging the tax base, investing in homes, and creating new businesses. -PICC   Join the Philadelphia Regional Refugee Provider Collaborative (PRRPC) with your friends and family to enjoy:   FOOD CRAFTS PERFORMANCES TESTIMONIALS ART INSTALLATIONS and MORE!
