On April 14th & 15th, Providence Animal Center, formerly the Delco SPCA, will host its annual spring fundraiser, Rescued on the Runway, to support its lifesaving efforts.
The fundraiser will feature human models accompanied by pets available for adoption. People fashions are sponsored by Élan, Sorella Boutique and H. Rose Kiddos. Animals “rescued” from Providence will also be featured in the show with their adopters, including hurricane survivor Cosmos, who was rescued from Hurricane Harvey after he was tied to a pole and left to drown.
April 14 is a cocktail evening from 7-10pm at the Cabrini University’s Grace Hall in Radnor hosted by 6ABC’s Cecily Tynan. The cocktail evening features an open bar and heavy hors-d'oeuvres. April 15 is a luncheon from 12:30-3:30pm at Kings Mills in Media hosted by Fox29’s Sue Serio. Tickets start at $50. Both events feature a fashion show, silent auction and wine and cash raffles.
Join Providence Animal Center for a give-back shopping night at Élan on Thursday, April 12th, from 6-9pm. 15% of sales will be donated to lifesaving efforts during the shopping event and items will be for sale during the Sunday luncheon.
Tickets and VIP tickets for both events, which includes a deluxe goodie bag, early entry, puppy access, early bidding, champagne and more, can be purchased at ProvidenceAC.org or by calling 610-566-1370 x222.
Generous event sponsors include Connelly & Moore Wealth Management Group and Haverford Trust.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Providence Animal Center’s lifesaving rescue efforts and prevention programs such as low-cost veterinary services, a pet food pantry and animal cruelty investigations. For more information, visit ProvidenceAC.org.
