We are pleased to announce the Upper Darby International Festival is coming back to 69th Street for its third year. Thousands of local residents attended last year’s event that showcased the township’s rich cultural diversity through food, live performances, and activities for the whole family.
More than a dozen local restaurants and food vendors will participate in the festival, providing attendees with the opportunity to sample a variety of international cuisine.
The festival will feature two stages to watch a roster of cultural performances - from dancing to martial arts and live music - and a Parade of Nations ceremony featuring flags representing the dozens of native countries of township residents.
There will be fun for the whole family, including a number of children’s activities. Additionally, many retailers in the 69th Street Business District will provide special discounts in connection with the festival.
The event is hosted by Upper Township Government and the Upper Darby Multicultural Commission.
