Personal style: Classic and casual. I can almost always be found in jeans. I love to dress up, as well—but we spend so much of our time casual these days. I think it’s important to feel good about what you’re wearing every day.

Favorite designer: Carolina Herrera.

Winter trends she’s wearing: Turtlenecks. They’re so easy, simple and flattering. Take a fitted black Splendid turtleneck, tuck it into higher-waist jeans, and add a faux-fur vest. Faux now has the feel and look of real fur, but you can sleep better at night.

Winter-to-spring style: Cold-shoulder, off-the-shoulder and one-shoulder tops. It’s all about the shoulder.

Style icon: That woman you see out and about who makes you look twice—or makes you wish she could stop and write down where she got each piece she’s wearing. Most often, that woman is not necessarily dressed up—just effortlessly put together.

Go-to casual outfit: Blundstone boots, lighter-washed J Brand skinnies with knee rips, an Autumn Cashmere sweater, and a Barbour jacket.

Go-to outfit for a Saturday night in the city: Joie booties, dark 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans, a silk top, and a black bomber jacket.

Favorite splurge: Almost everything. I believe in quality over quantity. I invest in pieces I’ll live in.

Favorite thing in her closet: An old Pucci skirt I still throw in my bag every time I travel—just in case.

Item in her closet that gets the most wear: My JOTT down jacket. I grab it every time I walk out the door.
