The popular eatery will still offer its authentic eats at local farmers’ markets and small retail businesses.

Kennett Square’s wildly popular Taste of Puebla is closing its doors by mid-September. There is some good news, though. Owners Cristobal and Mariana Castaneda will continue making their authentic guacamole, salsa, chips, tamales and more and sell them at local farmers’ markets and other small businesses.

The property at 201 Birch Street won’t remain vacant long. The Sawmill Bar and Grill, a burger and cheesesteak joint, will take its place. The owners also run The Nottingham Inn. No word yet on when it will open.
