Location: Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Beneficiary: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Now in its 13th year, the Lemon Ball brings together hundreds of guests to raise funds to help fight childhood cancer.

Superhero Gala 2019 • 1/25

Location: Crystal Tea Room. Beneficiary: The Superhero Project Inc. In 2018, over 500 attendees were part of the Superhero Gala. This year’s event will run for 5.5 hours and includes an open bar, dinner, live music, plus a live and silent auction, all in benefit of premature babies in the NICU.

Academy of Music 162nd Anniversary Concert and Ball • 1/26

Location: Academy of Music and Bellevue Hotel. Beneficiary: Academy of Music. Celebrating this Philadelphia stalwart’s 162nd birthday, the concert features music director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The white-tie ball follows at the Bellevue.

Location: Pennsylvania Convention Center. Beneficiary: Department of Nursing at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Kicking off the Philadelphia Auto Show, the Black Tie Tailgate lets attendees mix and mingle with some of the world’s nicest automobiles.

Longwood Rotary Annual Gala • 3/9

Location: Bellevue Hotel. Beneficiary: Thorncroft Equestrian Center. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Malvern’s Thorncroft Equestrian Center. The organization celebrates in grand style with its annual Victory Gallop at the Bellevue.

Location: TBA. Beneficiary: Stroud Water Research Center, Quest Therapeutic Services, University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine New Bolton Center. Preceding May 12’s Willowdale Steeplechase, this event takes its cues from Dîner en Blanc, where attendees wear white and dine in a secret outdoor location.
