For the 12th year running, Main Line Today threw the bash of the summer July 23 at Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center in Drexel Hill. Its Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs Party drew some 2,000 guests, who enjoyed food, drink and other samples from more than 100 winners featured in MLT’s July issue. Virtuoso party band Jellyroll provided live music, and NBC-10’s Lori Wilson emceed the event. Other NBC-10 attendees included Glenn “Hurricane” Schwartz and Vai Sikahema, the latter of whom sat in on drums with the Eagles Pep Band for “Fly, Eagles, Fly.” Even West Chester-based MTV wild man Bam Margera showed up—with wife Missy and his parents in tow. Proceeds from the event benefited Home of the Sparrow, Mommy’s Light and the Women’s Resource Center.
