The Main Line Gains Two New Restaurants
Plus, the Brewer's Plate and King of Prussia Restaurant Week are can't-miss events for foodies.
NEW IN EXTON: Suburban, a farm-to-table-focused restaurant and beer garden, is set to open in Eagleview Town Center this month. Chef Eric Yost (pictured) has an extensive culinary résumé, including stints at the Gables at Chadds Ford, White Dog Cafe and Wyebrook Farm.
THE MALL AND BEYOND: Get a taste of KOP’s growing dining district during Restaurant Week, running March 6–12. New spots offering prix-fixe lunch and dinner deals include Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, City Works Eatery & Pour House and Fogo de Chão.
SQUARE IS GOOD: Pica's West Chester has joined the glut of great pizza joints in our area. If you haven’t tried the four-sided “upside-down pie” made famous by Pica’s Upper Darby location, now’s your shot.
CUISINE AT THE KIMMEL: A must-attend food-and-beverage festival, the Brewer’s Plate returns to the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on March 5. Proceeds from the event benefit the nonprofit Fair Food.
