» Spring Has Sprung: And there’s no better place to soak it up than Terrain at Styer’s. Here are a few events you shouldn’t miss:
May 7: Girls’ Night Outdoors. Enjoy an evening with your girlfriends amidst Terrain’s vast inventory of garden supplies and accessories. Wine and hors d’oeuvres at the garden café.
May 9: “Vegetable Growers’ Monthly.” Tim Mount (Terrain and Happy Cat Organics) discusses the merits and methods of irrigation systems, getting to the weeds before they get to your garden, and the benefits of mulch.
May 9-10: Love Thy Mother Weekend. Find Mom a gift.
May 16: “Incorporating Vines and Garden Structures in Your Garden.” Members of Terrain’s landscape services division demonstrate how vines and their supports can be used to create garden “rooms,” disguise unsightly views, and tweak perspectives to stunning effect.
May 25: “Eating with the Seasons.” Join Terrain’s café manager, Bern Emore, as she discusses the health benefits of eating with the seasons.
