The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society welcomed 2,400 guests to its Philadelphia Flower Show Preview Reception & Dinner Feb. 27 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. St. Davids’ Barbara Meyers served as chair of the event, which featured a menu filled with authentic Italian dishes. Also in keeping with this year’s “Bella Italia” theme, Academy of Vocal Arts tenor Michael Fabiano—who will make his Metropolitan Opera debut next fall—charmed the crowd with his powerful voice. The event raised more than $800,000 for PHS outreach programs.
