Phoenixville Food Festival Returns on May 6

Plus, Margaret Kuo’s Wayne location celebrates its 15th anniversary.

MEALS ON WHEELS: Over 30 local food trucks will roll onto Bridge Street on May 6 for the popular pay-as-you-go Phoenixville Food Festival. Look for favorites like Dia Doce, Ka’Chi, the Sunflower Truck Stop, Sum Pig Food Truck and Uncle B’s BBQ Shack, rain or shine.

KUDOS TO KUO: Culinary icon Margaret Kuo celebrates her 15th anniversary in Wayne this month. There, she served the Philadelphia area’s first xiao long bao (Shanghai soup bun) in 2002. She continues to showcase Chinese, Japanese and Taiwanese specialties with refinement. Check out her one-of-a-kind ethnic brunch.

OPENINGS: Snap Custom Pizza debuts its sixth location at Local Table Market Fresh Café’s former digs in Conshy. Salads and pizza—traditional or gluten-free—are made to order at one price.

And the Los Angeles-based MidiCi now has its first Pennsylvania location at King of Prussia Town Center. The menu's authentic offerings include artisan burratas, traditional Neapolitan pizzas, fresh salads and house-made meatballs.
