Media, the seat of government for Delaware County, retains its genuine small-town flavor but has added more spice. The sweeping courthouse still commands the view, but councilors now share the spotlight with craftsmen and connoisseurs of fashion and cuisine. Hard by the 69th Street-bound trolley that’s grooved State Street since 1913, distinctive shops and restaurants have joined the once-staid lineup, still offering something for just about everyone.
