Cruise for the Kids

The Children’s Crisis Treatment Center hosted its ninth annual Cruise for the Kids Sept. 10 on Philadelphia’s famed party ship, the Moshulu. More than 350 supporters of CCTC attended the event, which raised $81,000 for the organization. Spirited reggae/calypso band Verdict had the crowd up and dancing throughout the night, as did the music of DJ Lucas Rivera. Raffle prizes included a week in Los Cabos, Mexico, and dinner for 10 prepared by Kildare’s Irish Pub executive chef Brian Duffy. For more than 30 years, CCTC has provided comprehensive mental and behavioral health services in Philadelphia. Annually, the organization helps more than 650 families and treats more than 1,500 kids.
