Best of the Main Line Party
It was the “must attend” event of the summer—make that the year—July 31 as Main Line Today threw its 11th annual Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs Party in typically grand style. More than 100 winners featured in the magazine’s July issue proved why they deserved top honors, serving delicious food, drink and more to the over 2,000 guests who packed the Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center in Drexel Hill. NBC-10’s Bill Henley was the evening’s emcee, and everyone’s favorite party band, Jellyroll, kept the crowd on the dance floor. “The winners who participated are truly the best,” says Main Line Today publisher Sally Holub. “They make the evening successful.” Proceeds from the event benefited Home of the Sparrow, Mommy’s Light, the Alzheimer’s Association, CASA Youth Advocates and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. —Tara Behan
