Best Croissants, 2017: The airy, buttery croissants baked fresh at this Wayne pâtisserie are a perfectly executed taste of France.

From 2015: Burgundian pastry chef Patrick Gauthron specializes in two delicious sizes of the meringue cookies, available in such classic flavors as almond-raspberry and pistachio. His time at Le Bec-Fin contributing to his proficiency in technique and craftsmanship, Gauthron regularly dabbles in additional flavors like lavender and lemon.

From 2013: Master chocolatier Patrick Gauthron's meticulously crafted chocolates are almost too elegant to eat. Almost. These miniature pieces of art are a sophisticated adult's paradise, available in liquored-up flavors like dark chocolate with Armagnac brandy and Piment d'Espelette, Hazelnut Cointreau mousse, and white chocolate infused with pear brandy.

From 2011: The chocolates are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the French pastries are to die for. Whether it’s a seasonal fruit tart you’re after or an extra-special cake for an upcoming celebration, this tiny Wayne bakery will have your guests “mmm”ing all the way home. The Fraisier—a decadent version of an American strawberry shortcake—is highly recommended.
