Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick developed the first TRX training harness out of parachute webbing, which he and his fellow SEALS used in wharf-side warehouses and urban safe-houses, on ships, even inside submarines. Now available to the rest of us, this deceptively simple system has spawned hundreds of exercises that make the most of gravity and body weight to build core strength, increase joint stability, and improve balance, coordination and flexibility. Get acclimated with Michael Massafra’s intro course at EAC.

Best High-Intensity Workouts 2015: Monday’s and Friday’s 12:15 a.m. circuit class will whip your core into shape in no time—or perhaps you want to kick off the week on the stationary bike in a 5:30 p.m. spin class. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s lunchtime C.L.I.M.B. sessions are an original and invigorating mix of cardio and strength training, and the new TRX-kettlebell class is a great Wednesday alternative to an hour in the weight room. Consider your fitness week planned.
