No, we’re not talking Lincoln Financial Field here—rather, the more subdued Great Valley Nature Center in Devault. Tucked away on 10.5 acres, this sanctuary is home to a pond, a stream and a variety of habitats, not to mention the Birds of Prey Center and a replica of a Native American Lenape village. More than 35,000 people visit or participate in GVNC’s programming each year, bringing them face-to-face with bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, peregrine falcons and other raptors.
