  • 2009: Eclectic Desserts

From 2009: This BYO has induced swoons with its revolving roster of luscious desserts. Chef/owner Andrew Deery has dazzled with pineapple sorbet, coconut tapioca and macadamia nut brittle; coffee cardamom or chocolate pots de creme with spiced doughnuts; fennel panna cotta with strawberries and aged balsamico; and fragrant shortbread cookies served with Meyer lemon curd and Earl Grey tea ice cream.

From 2013: Majolica's Grilled Scallop with Spiced Pork Belly - This small-place appetizer pairs buttery seared scallops with rich, crispy pork belly, rounding it all out with semi-sweet apricot jam.

Best Chef, Andrew Deery, 2014: Andrew Deery combines an obsessive attention to quality and technique with the bonhomie of a small-town restaurant owner. His meticulously constructed, color-splashed plates never fail to woo diners. Deliciously scientific creations include foie-gras crème caramel accented with toasted cumin, and crab risotto with uni butter and specks of charred scallion. And he’s just getting started.

Best Tasting Menu, 2015: Chef Andrew Deery continues to wow diners at his Phoenixville BYOB with a unique, ever-changing lineup of dishes. Let him surprise you with either six courses ($55) or eight ($75). A recent sampling included decadent sweet-potato agnolotti, served with pork belly and pistachio pesto, and spiced Moulard duck with root-vegetable hash.
