From 2009: You still have to wait a year for a chance to try chef Bryan Sikora's swoon-worthy creations, but stop in early enough on a Sunday afternoon and you might just be rewarded with a delectable cheese board. The tantalizing prepared-foods menu changes daily, but count on a variety of handmade pastas, locally grown and inspired cold veggie soups, and naturally raised meats - perfect for grilling - along with a growing selection of artisan cheeses.

From 2010: Reservations require a year’s notice, so Talula’s Table is a perfect birthday choice for those who prefer an intimate setting and exquisite, locally grown, gastronomically inspired food. Owner Aimee Olexy’s memorable feasts are simple, yet layered with nuance. Less is more—except when it comes to the symphony of flavors. And Olexy might even share in a birthday toast.

From 2013: A forerunner in the farm-to-table movement, Talula's perhaps a little surprisingly, hasn't lost a step. Its exquisite, seasonal cuisine, impeccable service and unmatched atmosphere are still worth the wait.

From 2015: After the Center City success of Django, Aimee Olexy set her sights on the Mushroom Capital of the World. Almost a decade later, there’s no stopping this visionary’s impeccable win streak, fueled by her cutting-edge reliance on local farms and artisan purveyors.
